I’m so pumped you’re interested in working with Lilac Lens! I’m Emily Love, and when I say your memories are my passion, I mean that! I enjoy learning about the people that book with me, hearing their stories, and capturing days that are important to them so they can watch back their memories in real time.
The name Lilac Lens in special to me for many reasons. I'm based in North Dakota, and after a long, cold winter, the best time of year is when the lilacs bloom; the world gets brighter, and it seems a bit dreamier somehow. That's my own personal reason, but it goes deeper than that. Lilacs and the scent of lilacs are symbolic of nostalgia, first loves, and the act of remembering. Those are exactly what I want to invoke when I put your videos together. For years to come, when you watch your video made by Lilac Lens, I want you to feel nostalgic and remember how you felt in the moments that were captured.
